Anushka Shetty is an Indian actress and popular face of South Indian film industry. Sweety Shetty popularly known by her onscreen name Anushka Shetty was born 7 November 1981 in Mangalore, Karnataka to Prafulla and A.N. Vittal Shetty. She works mainly in Tamil and Telugu films. She is the leading actress in Tollywood films. Anushka began her career as a Yoga instructor while working as yoga teacher she got a chance to act in film. She did her schooling and completed Bachelor of Computer Applications from Bangalore. She made her filmy career from Telugu debut Super in 2005 along with co-actress Ayesha Takia and she had nominated for Filmfare Awards South in best supporting actress category. Another film Maha Nandi she appeared opposite Sumanth and Srihari. She appeared in S. S. Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu in 2006 opposite Ravi Teja and the film was commercially hit at box office and she got recognition and popularity from the film. Later in the following year she had a special appearance for the A. R. Murugadoss directorial debut from movie Stalin in 1999. Her commercially success movie Arundhati in 2009 for which she received several awards and nomination, she won Nandi Awards special jury awards, CineMAA Awards for best actress, South Scope Cine Awards and many other awards for the film.

In 2010 she worked in another blockbuster movie Singam opposite Surya. Ugadi Awards 2016 for best actress and nominated for Apsara Awards 2016 in the category of Heroine of the Year. In 2015 she worked in S. S. Rajamouli’s trilingual Baahubali: The Beginning along with co-actors Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia and Rana Daggubati, big budget movie huge commercial success across the world. Anushka Shetty upcoming film Baahubali: The Conclusion sequel of Baahubali which Scheduled to be released on April 2017 and another Telugu films Chiranjeevi’s 150 and Bhagmati expected date of release in January 2017.
